Mourners Remember Those Killed In Wisconsin Sikh Shooting
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4)- Mourners gathered Tuesday night to remember and honor those killed in a Sikh temple near Milwaukee last weekend.
Some of those that gathered signed a banner that read, "Colorado Mourns With You."
The remembrance ceremony brought together people of several faiths.
Those who practice the Sikh faith believe all of human kind come from the same place.
"When we look at it in terms of our faith we believe that we all come from one life source, one God, one creator. So regardless of what we look like, ultimately we are all the same, whether I use the word soul, divine lights, individually and inside we are all equal in the eyes of the creator," said vigil participant Dilpreet Jammu.
Temple officials said they will add additional security at the newly completed temple in Commerce City.
