DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police would like the public’s help locating a suspect in several purse thefts.

Detective John White with Denver police said Winter Kree Yates, 34, has been involved in purse thefts across the Denver area since April 21.

“Yates is known to enter office buildings searching for unsecured purses or wallets,” White said in a statement. “She then takes the items, leaves the office building, and immediately goes to a retailer and uses the stolen credit or debit card.”

Winter Yates has several felony warrants for her arrest and is a known flight risk.
