24 Lucky Fans To Get Tickets For 'Book Of Mormon' Each Night

DENVER (CBS4) - Tickets for "The Book of Mormon," both on Broadway and for the start of the national tour in Denver, have been tough to get. But now, each night 24 lucky fans will get front row seats.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody found out about the details on a very special lottery.

"Are you feeling lucky? Well here's your chance to get front row tickets to the biggest show in town -- for only $24 bucks," Moody said. "If you are one of the lucky few every night."

Each performance will have 24 front row seats up for grabs. Go to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House box office 2 1/2 hours before show time and put in your name for one or two tickets. Then two hours before the show the winners will be drawn. Tickets are only $25 apiece. It's a way to say "thank you" to the fans.

"Those tickets are expensive. Even at regular price it's $100 a ticket you know, and our fans, our South Park fans, who we want to see the show are college students or don't have a lot of money," Matt Stone said. "You have to put your name in a hat and you have to stand outside, but you have a way, you can go see the show if you're willing to do that, which tons of people are.

"That becomes the front row of the theater, so for the actors, they have the insane fans right up front."
