DENVER (CBS4) – Craft beer sales keep growing across the country, and that’s good news for Colorado brewers.
CBS4′s news partners at the Denver Business Journal broke down the latest numbers. Sales in the first half of 2012 jumped 14 percent over the same time last year. Craft brew production rose by double digits as well.
The big brewers still dominate with more than 90 percent of the overall beer market.
Colorado is home to six of the largest craft brewers in the country and they have a $446 million economic impact on the state.
