ELDORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – An 8-year-old girl is in the hospital after nearly drowning in Boulder County.

The incident happened Sunday at a pool in Eldorado Springs. The sheriff’s office says the girl was rushed by helicopter to The Children’s Hospital after she was found in the pool not breathing.

Medical crews conducted CPR and got her breathing before they rushed her to the hospital. Her condition has not been released.

The sheriff’s office says the case appears to be an accident.
