Federal Immigration Officials Worry About Victims

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) — Federal immigration officials are offering to help illegal immigrant victims of violence.

Officials plan to announce their programs on Thursday in Centennial to help illegal immigrants who are victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and violent crimes such as rape, murder, and sexual assault.

Denver is one of 30 cities being visited by federal immigration officials to educate the public, authorities and health care workers about programs to protect victims who may be in the United States illegally.
