DENVER (CBS4) – This year Denver had the warmest July ever – besting July 1934 – but also the warmest month in Denver weather history as well.
Moisture was .48 inches, which was not enough (by .03”) to get it into the Top 10 list of driest Julys (number 10 on the list: .45 inches in 1920).
We recorded seven 100-degree days in July 2012 – normally each year on average we get just one 100 degree day.
