Cherry Creek North Stores Team Up For School Supply Drive
DENVER (CBS4) - Stores in Cherry Creek North are teaming up to help make sure students go back to class with the supplies they need.
Janus is spearheading the school supply drive that started Monday. Stores in Cherry Creek North are setting up collection bins so shoppers can drop of supplies or make a donation.
On average students have to buy about $75 worth of supplies.
"I've talked to families who have said, 'There's just no way we do that for our kids,' " Tracy Donovan with Janus said. "So this is a really great thing for those families who need that kind of help."
The collection drive runs through Aug. 17.
