Boulder Police: Woman Forced Into SUV, Sexually Assaulted By 2 Men

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder police are trying to track down two suspects after a woman says she was kidnapped outside of a high-end Boulder hotel and later raped.

The incident began outside the Hotel Boulderado located at 13th and Spruce. The woman says two men forced her into an SUV and drove her to a residence located at 17th and University, where she was sexually assaulted.

The victim says she escaped when the suspects left the room.

Police say the victim called her friend around 4:30 a.m. about what happened. The friend notified police and officers found her at a pay phone at 28th and Arapahoe and took her to the hospital.

"What the victim told us is that she had been out with some friends and she was separated from her friends and at some point she says the two unknown males forced her into their vehicle," Kim Kobel with the Boulder Police Department said.

The victim gave limited descriptions of the men she says assaulted her. Both men are described as white males, possibly in their 40s. One of the men is described as being 6-foot-1 with brown eyes and a "big gut." The other man is approximately 5-foot-10 with blue eyes and "skinny."
