Body Of Colorado Shooting Victim Returned To Reno

RENO, Nev. (AP) - The body of a Colorado movie theater shooting victim has been returned to his hometown of Reno.

Jonathan Blunk's body was flown from Denver to Reno on Friday night, and a hearse carrying the casket was then escorted by the Patriot Guard to Mountain View Mortuary.

The 26-year-old Blunk grew up in Reno and his family still lives in the area, including his wife, Chantel, and their two young children.

The Navy veteran, who lived in Aurora, Colo., was among 12 people killed July 20 at a midnight movie there.

A public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Reno mortuary. A full military funeral and burial will follow Friday. The service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the mortuary.
