Alleged Assault Victim's Attorney Claims CIA Pressuring District Attorney

DENVER (CBS4) - Charges could be lowered in the case against Raymond Davis, the former CIA operative who was held in Pakistan.

Davis is charged with felony assault in Douglas County after a dispute with a man over a parking space.

The attorney for the alleged victim, Jeff Maes, says the district attorney is telling him they want the charges reduced because some of Maes' injuries did not come from the confrontation.

Maes' attorney claims the CIA is pressuring the district attorney. The district attorney's office won't comment.
