BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) – Jury selection began Monday in Breckenridge in the trial of a man accused of killing his wife.

Dale Bruner is charged with beating and strangling Stephanie Roller Bruner in 2010.

Bruner reported his wife missing from their home in Silverthorne in November of 2010. He said she went for a walk and never returned.

A three-day search ended with her body being found in the Blue River outside Silverthorne.

Court records detail that the couple had filed for divorce weeks before Roller Bruner’s death.
