AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A pastor attacked and shot in the leg earlier this week says he’s willing to forgive his attackers.
Alfonso Gomez is walking with a cane now. He was pulling into his apartment complex in Aurora on July 4. He says two men wanted his car but he wouldn’t give it to them.
“I pray they become better a person than me, that they can be productive to the community and have jobs and they don’t have to steal and hold guns to innocent people,” Gomez said,
Police say tips from surveillance video led to the arrests of Christian Venegas
and Ricardo Telles.
