Interior Secretary Checking Out Energy Research

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) — Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is checking out one of the top renewable energy research facilities in Colorado.

Salazar is visiting the National Renewable Energy Laboratory campus in Golden on Friday. Salazar is hoping to highlight the role of renewable energy research and development creating jobs while focusing on clean energy.

The facility is the U.S. Department of Energy's primary national laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research.
