FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – Dozens of cars were tagged in a vandalism spree in a Fort Collins neighborhood this week. The vandals even sprayed a police car.
Homeowners woke up to find the damage on Tuesday and victims spent the day scrubbing sprayed designs and expletives off their cars as best they could.
One neighbor said the vandals hit at least 30 people on one street.
Fort Collins police say reports of vandalized cars have come in, from an area of several blocks near Old Town Fort Collins.
Car owners told CBS4 they are frustrated, and not convinced they will see justice.
“I certainly hope they get caught, it would be wonderful if we could catch them, line all the vehicles up and have them remove their handiwork, but it probably won’t happen,” victim Mark Doty said. “I’m sure we’ll never find out who did it.”
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Fort Collins Police Department.
