Cedar Knob Fire Continues To Burn

MAYBELL, Colo. (CBS4)- The Cedar Knob Fire continues to burn about 20 miles south of Maybell in Moffat County.

The fire had burned about 1,200 acres as of Wednesday morning. The fire is burning in a heavy sage area on private land.

The fire was threatening a cabin and some outbuildings but no houses. The fire was 25 percent contained Wednesday.

Moffat County Sheriff said firefighters with the Bureau of Land Management and the Moffat County Sheriff's Office worked on the fire line until 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

What caused the fire is being investigated.
