Bull Basin Fire 100 Percent Contained
MESA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Bull Basin Fire burning in Mesa County was 100 percent contained Wednesday afternoon.
The Bull Basin Fire burned roughly 20 acres and is burning on private land approximately one mile southwest of the town of Molina.
There were approximately 120 firefighters, including two Type 2 Initial Attack Crews and three BLM squads, ten engines and three water tenders fighting the fire.
Crews are now mopping up the area.
The wildfire caused hundreds of residents in a five mile radius around 51755 KE Road to be put on a pre-evacuation alert. That alert was lifted several hours later.
