LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) – If you want to try out a new pizza place, here’s some food for thought.

Virgilio’s Pizzeria in unincorporated Jefferson County was featured in USA Today this week as on of the “51 great pizza parlors” in America. The newspaper featured a top spot for pizza in each state plus in the District of Columbia.

Virgilio’s cooks their pizza in gas ovens so the crust is light, puffy and foldable so you can eat in on the run.

The garlic knots also come highly recommended.

John Lehndorff who blogs on the website Nibbles made the recommendation.
