COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – Commerce City has approved new rules for fracking after a company started the process near the Reunion neighborhood earlier this year.
The new regulations will require each company to have an individual agreement with Commerce City before starting operations.
Those companies will have to plan for noise mitigation, water quality controls and hours of operation.
The company that was drilling near Reunion voluntarily stopped their operation for 30 days.
