ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — The Pitkin County Republican Party says Mitt Romney will attend private fundraising events in Aspen next month.

Bob Jenkins, the county party’s vice chairman, said Saturday the events are scheduled for July 9 in the upscale resort town.

They include receptions, photos with Romney, a cocktail party and a dinner for fundraisers and for people contributing between $2,500 and $50,000.

The visit was first reported by the Aspen Daily News.

Romney, the presumed Republican nominee, made a campaign stop in Craig on May 29.
