Firefighter Impersonator Suspect Appears In Court
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - A man accused of impersonating a firefighter made his first court appearance Monday morning.
Michael Maher faces four counts, including criminal impersonation and theft. He was arrested after national guardsmen became suspicious of his behavior at the High Park Fire.
Jefferson County is also investigating Maher to see if he impersonated a firefighter during the Lower North Fork Fire.
