WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Wheat Ridge are investigating a deadly accident that closed down a highway for several hours Saturday morning.
Police said they noticed a Jeep Cherokee had rolled over on Colorado Highway 58 near Gladiola Street at about 5 a.m. The Jeep was the only vehicle involved. The male driver was thrown from the car when it rolled. He did not survive.
The Jeep then caught fire.
The highway was closed until about 10 a.m.
