DENVER (CBS4)- A man has formally been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman with whom he had been drinking.

Ethan Ruddy has been charged with one count of sexual assault of an incapacitated victim.

The charges allege that Ruddy, 19, carried the victim, who was unconscious from excessive drinking, from her car into a garage in the 2800 block of West Park Place.

He then allegedly sexually assaulted her. A witness claimed to have interrupted the assault.

Ruddy was released from custody on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear for his second advisement in Denver County Court on June 29.
