DENVER (AP) – Mosquitoes infected with the West Nile virus have been found in three Colorado counties.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said Tuesday infected insects have been found in Delta, Larimer and Weld counties.

The health department says no human illnesses have been reported. Most human cases of the disease are mild. Severe symptoms include a high fever, neck stiffness, disorientation, coma or convulsions.
