The Colorado Department of Transportation is doing some median work affecting traffic both direction on US 85 north of Fort Lupton near Platteville.
CDOT says crews will be installing guardrails from mile marker 241 to mile marker 250–the hope is to reduce the chances of crossover accidents.
The work will go from 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday each week through September.
You should expect alternating single lane closures north and southbound on US 85 through that area.
