DENVER (CBS4) – Some possible future Denver Nuggets held a pre-draft workout at the Pepsi Center on Monday.
Former University of Colorado forward Austin Dufault was there. The Nuggets are also taking a look at former Kansas point guard Tyshawn Taylor. He thinks of himself as a taller version of Ty Lawson.
“I’ve watched Ty since he was at Carolina. The way he gets up and forces the tempo, that’s kind of how I want to play; that’s kind of how I wanted to play in college and Bill Self let me do that a little bit last year,” Taylor said. “To be in a program like this where they get up and down … I think that would fit my abilities really well.”
The NBA draft is June 28. The Nuggets have the 20th pick.
