DENVER (CBS4)- A man has been formally charged of assaulting neighbors in his apartment complex. A woman involved in the incident was also charged.
Robert “Bob” Walter, 52, is charged with burglary, third-degree assault, assault of an at-risk victim and child abuse.
Alice Bozeman, 59, is charged with assault on a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer.
Police responded to a neighborhood dispute call on June 11 in the 1500 block of Hooker Street. The charges allege that Walter went into a neighboring apartment, wearing only boxer shorts, carrying an alcoholic beverage and assaulted several residents including a six-month-old baby.
The charges further allege that Bozeman assaulted an officer when police tried to arrest Walter.
Walter and Bozeman both remain in custody. Walter’s bond is set at $50,000 and Bozeman’s at $5,000. They are scheduled to appear in court on June 19 to be formally advised of the charges.
