LAKE GEORGE, Colo. (CBS4) – All evacuations connected with the Arkansas Fire near Lake George have been canceled.
The wildfire broke out on Thursday in Park County a mile south of Highway 24.
By Friday morning the fire was about 50 percent contained.
It has burned 30 acres.
One firefighter was treated for altitude sickness during the firefight and is expected to be okay.
Approximately 100 firefighters were working on the fire and there were two helicopters involved.
Officials said they hoped to have the fire 100 percent contained by the end of the day Friday.
Lightning started the fire.
