COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — One person has died and another was injured during filming for a national television show at a gun range.
El Paso County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Joe Roybal said Friday a 51-year-old woman died Thursday evening when a smoke bomb apparently exploded at the gun range east of Colorado Springs. He says investigators are still trying to determine what happened and an autopsy is pending.
On Wednesday, a woman was injured and treated for burns during a stunt. The names of the victims and the name of the film company have not been released.
The film crew was outside on the gun range when the fatal accident occurred. Authorities said no other people were on the range at the time.
