FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – Officials ordered new evacuations for the Pingree Park Road area Tuesday afternoon including the Colorado State University’s Pingree Park campus due to the High Park Fire.
CSU has moved or canceled all the activities on the campus until further notice.
Pingree Park is a field a campus for the university where students spent four weeks in hands-on, outdoor learning. CSU is moving all those students to the main campus in Fort Collins, which is not affected by the High Park Fire.
School officials said students should report to Edwards Hall. The instructor will give the students the information they need about moving to an on-campus dorm as well as where they will be taking classes.
CSU is one of the few universities in the nation to offer a field program in a setting like Pingree Park
