Eric Young Jr. Says Rockies Need To Keep Grinding

DENVER (CBS4) - It's official -- the Colorado Rockies have the worst pitching staff in baseball.

The Rockies are dead last in almost every statistical category. In fact, CBS4's Vic Lombardi jokingly auditioned for pitchers on Xfinity Monday Live with Eric Young Jr. helping out.

Young is doing his best not to pile on the Rockies pitchers.

"We try to get help for our pitchers right off early and sometimes we don't deliver, so right now we've got to pretty much keep grinding, keep fighting," Young said. "We'll get together as a whole."

Young also talked about growing up the son of a ballplayer and his father's famous home run in Denver.
