Fire Destroys Buildings, Horse Trailers Near Erie
ERIE, Colo. (CBS4) - The gusty winds and the heat on Saturday made it tough for firefighters in Weld County battling a fire that destroyed several buildings near Erie.
Copter4 flew over a property south of Erie near Interstate 25 and Colorado 7 around 1:30 p.m. Mountain View Fire says several outbuildings and horse trailers caught on fire.
There were no fire hydrants so firefighters had to truck in water.
Nobody was hurt. It's not clear what caused the fire.
