Four More Rabid Skunks Found In Larimer County

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – Four more skunks have tested positive for rabies in Larimer County.

The total is now 14. The Larimer County Health Department says it’s the first time they’ve seen rabies in skunks ever.

Most of the skunks were found in open space areas near the city.

Rabies in skunks is not uncommon, but people are urged to keep their pets inside and away from skunks and to get their livestock vaccinated.
