4th Suspect Arrested In Wheat Ridge Carjacking Case

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Wheat Ridge arrested the fourth and final suspect in the brutal attack and carjacking of a 50-year-old Wheat Ridge woman.

The woman was attacked at the Wheat Ridge Rec Center on May 19.

The fourth suspect, a 17-year-old male, turned himself in to police on Tuesday afternoon. He was transported to Mount View Youth Services Center in Denver where he is being held on a $10,000 bond.

The juvenile faces several felony charges including aggravated robbery and felony menacing.

Another suspect in the case, Anthony A. Lucero, 29, of Denver, was arrested May 30 and faces six felony charges ranging from aggravated robbery to identity theft.

Lucero is jailed at the Jefferson County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court June 15.

Police in Denver also arrested two men for their alleged role in the carjacking.

Carlos Lucero, 19 and Adam Hagan, 18, both of Northglenn, were arrested May 29.

Both men remain incarcerated at the Jefferson County Detention Center in Golden.

The carjacking happened after witnesses spotted two men breaking into cars in the parking lot.
