Woman Shot After Wandering Into Boulder Home Formally Charged
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The University of Colorado graduate shot when she wandered into a Boulder home is now charged with first-degree trespassing.
Zoey Ripple is accused of stumbling into a Boulder couple's bedroom. Police say she got in through an unlocked screen door. After warning her to stop the homeowner ending up shooting her.
The homeowner will not face charges under Colorado's Make My Day Law.
Investigators suspect ripple's blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit.
Ripple was formally charged Monday and will appear in court again next month.
