Suspect Held In Deadly Colorado Springs Bar Shooting
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A 26-year-old man is facing murder charges following a Colorado Springs bar shooting that left a man dead and a woman wounded.
Police say Dwight Gordon Jr. of Colorado Springs was arrested during an investigation into the shooting at the Golden Cue Bar.
Several hundred people were at the bar when the shooting erupted just before 1 a.m. Saturday.
The man who was shot was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The woman was hospitalized with a leg wound. Their names weren't released.
There was no word on what prompted the violence, but police say Gordon is being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on first degree murder charges.
