Fire Crews Mop Up Wildfire Near Button Rock Reservoir

DENVER (CBS4) – Fire crews were mopping up hot spots on a fire burning north of Button Rock Reservoir on Sunday.

The half-acre fire was started by lightning on Saturday. Fire crews had it fully contained just before midnight.

The Little Sand fire burning near Pagosa Springs was also started by lightning. It’s 20 percent contained and has burned nearly 5,000 acres.

The Sunrise Mine fire near Paradox is 96 percent contained. It’s burned more than 6,000 acres.
