DENVER (CBS4)- A federal grand jury in Denver has indicted three people with conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
One defendant, Andrea Aldridge, 31, of Denver, appeared in U.S. District Court on Thursday where he was advised of the charges pending against him.
Another defendant, Robert Blankenship, 47, of Lakewood, is currently in state custody.
A third defendant is a fugitive.
The three defendants were indicted as a continuation of an investigation that began about one year ago which involves the arrest and prosecution of more than a dozen defendants.
Most of those were indicted are being prosecuted on violations of federal firearms charges and intent to distribute methamphetamine.
In total, agents seized 54 firearms, seven of which had obliterated serial numbers and one of which was a fully automatic machine gun, one silencer, one ballistic vest, more than 9,000 pounds of ammunition, more than 19 ounces of cocaine and more than 20 ounces of methamphetamine.
