Starting Saturday June 2nd, if you are dropping off or picking up someone at Denver International Airport’s Terminal West, you will notice detours.
The detours for the Level 6 West passenger drop-off and the Level 4 West passenger pick-up will be in place for about a year while DIA rebuilds the bridges on the South side of Jeppesen Terminal. All of the detours will not affect Terminal East or parking.
This is all part of the South Terminal Redevelopment Program which DIA hopes will complete the original vision of the airport. That vision includes a hotel and Light Rail direct from Denver’s Union Station.
DIA says they will have additional staff out to help ease traffic problems, redirect travelers and answer questions.
