Mount Evans Highway Opens For Season
Mount Evans Highway is open to traffic for the season and will stay open until Labor Day weekend. The highway is about 15 miles south of Idaho Springs.
CDOT says the road is in good condition except for some frost damage near Summit Lake. Mount Evans Highway is America's highest paved highway. Take a look at video of the drive:
