CLEAR CREEK CANYON, Colo. (CBS4)- A man fell while climbing in Clear Creek Canyon Friday morning.
It happened while TJ Brumme from Denver, was taking pictures of his two friends while free climbing.
He fell 30 feet at about 9:15 a.m. at mile marker 259 on Highway 6 near tunnel #5.
Brumme, 25, was rushed to St. Anthony Hospital with head, arm and ankle injuries. He also suffered some abrasions. He was listed in serious condition Friday afternoon.
Several crews were called to the scene, including Idaho Springs Police, Clear Creek Fire Authority and The Alpine Rescue Team.
Crews carried Brumme 1/2 mile to the road.
