MIAMI (AP) – Infielder Jonathan Herrera has been placed on the 15-day disabled list by the Colorado Rockies with a strained right hamstring, and infielder D.J. LeMahieu was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
The moves were made before Wednesday’s game in Miami.
Herrera left Tuesday’s game against the Marlins in the sixth inning because of the injury. He was hitting .239 and had played 26 games.
