Gaylord Mega Resort Eligible For Millions In Incentives
DENVER (CBS4) - A proposed mega resort near Denver International Airport is in line for millions in incentives from the state.
On Friday Colorado's economic development commission agreed the Gaylord Hotel and conference center is eligible for the Regional Tourism Act.
Under the plan Gaylord would receive $81 million over 30 years in hopes of attracting new out-of-state tourists.
The plan is for a 1,500 room hotel near DIA with construction set to begin within nine months.
