Painting Vandal Sentenced To 2 Years Probation
DENVER (CBS4)- A woman who vandalized a painting at the Clyfford Still Museum was sentenced to two years probation on Thursday.
Carmen Tisch appeared before a judge Thursday morning after her original hearing for criminal mischief charges was postponed because she was ill.
Prosecutors say Tisch scratched and leaned on a painting at the museum and then urinated nearby last fall.
The painting, "1957-J-No. 2," is valued at between $30 million and $40 million and it cost about $10,000 to repair.
