Jodi's Race For Awareness Raises $$ To Fight Ovarian Cancer
DENVER (CBS4) - Ovarian cancer is a deadly disease and the symptoms are too often missed.
Guadalupe "Pep" Torres, the executive director of the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance, stopped by CBS4 studios to talk about her story, which isn't an easy one that involves the loss of her mother.
Torres also talked about ovarian cancer facts and a major fundraiser called Jodi's Race for Awareness, which provides much of the funding to support the many programs COCA offers.
