Store Clerk Who Was Shot During Robbery Recovering After Surgery
DENVER (CBS4) - A convenience store clerk shot during a robbery is recovering from surgery Friday and his family is flying in from London.
A pair of armed robbers shot the clerk Wednesday night at Bruce Randolph and York in Denver. He's from Afghanistan and came to the U.S. to make a better life for himself.
Police think the robbery may be tied to two others that night at Subway sandwich stores. Police say the close proximity of the crimes could mean they were the work of the same bandits.
