FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- The Fort Collins Police Department was forced to shut down for several hours Wednesday afternoon when a woman walked inside and claimed to have explosives.
The woman walked in carrying a microwave, claiming her ex-boyfriend had planted a bomb inside. Police called the bomb squad.
Investigators X-rayed the microwave and found no explosives inside.
The police department reopened a few hours later and resumed normal operations.
The woman carrying the microwave has not been charged.
