SCHOOL CLOSINGS: Snowstorm delays and closes schools and offices in parts of Colorado (See The Full List)

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)– The Fort Collins Police Department was forced to shut down for several hours Wednesday afternoon when a woman walked inside and claimed to have explosives.

The woman walked in carrying a microwave, claiming her ex-boyfriend had planted a bomb inside. Police called the bomb squad.

Investigators X-rayed the microwave and found no explosives inside.

The police department reopened a few hours later and resumed normal operations.

The woman carrying the microwave has not been charged.
