FRISCO, Colo. (AP) – Summit County officials are seeking options to deal with a severe drought.
County officials are holding a meeting Tuesday after the National Integrated Drought Information System declared a severe drought in Summit County and the Colorado River Basin.
The meeting is sponsored by the Colorado River District and the Blue River Watershed Group. Snow-pack levels measured 33 percent of average, which is below the last memorable drought year of 2002.
