COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – Colorado Springs police are investigating after a homeless man told them he was shot while trying to sleep.

The man was sleeping in a culvert early Monday when two men woke him up by shining a flashlight in his eyes.

The man was shot several times and suffered non-life-threatening wounds to his legs.

The victim was not identified and police are searching for two suspects.
