BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4/AP) – Both lanes of the highway between Boulder and Nederland open after a rock slide.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says crews knocked down additional loose rocks or boulders Tuesday so they wouldn’t fall on traffic.
Officials say no one was injured when a boulder weighing an estimated 12 to 15 tons fell on Colorado Highway 119 in Boulder Canyon.
The boulder toppled near mile marker 33 between Boulder and Nederland, leaving behind slight damage, mostly on the shoulder of the road.
